Displayguard® electronic industrial safety display
combines a protective steel guardrail with a highly visible,
computer-directed electronic display. Selected messages are
communicated to
your personnel through one or more highly visible electronic displays located throughout
your commercial, manufacturing, or industrial complex.
Messages are selected and transmitted to Displayguard®
electronic industrial
safety display units by managers, supervisors, or office
personnel using the Windows based Displayguard®
software.
Electronic
Industrial Safety Display
Displayguard®'s electronic industrial safety display system provides over 250
preprogrammed messages categorized in five classes: General, Notice,
Caution, Warning, and Danger. Choose a preprogrammed message
or create your own messages.
The General Class messages include safety messages like "Think
Safety First" or "Be Careful, Bend Knees When Lifting".
The Notice Class Messages include messages like "No Cellular Phones"
or "No Smoking in this Area".
Displayguard®
is an electronic industrial safety display that connects
to your existing guardrail and displays safety information in real
time.
Examples of the Caution Class messages include "Caution: Ear
Protection Required," "Hard Hats Required" and "Caution: Carbon
Monoxide May Be Present".
The Warning Class Messages include "Hazardous
Materials," "Wear Your Respirator," and "Look Out for Forklifts".
The highest level of messages are the Danger Class
Messages. Examples include safety messages like "DANGER!!!
FLAMMABLE MATERIALS" and "DANGER!!! HAZARDOUS AREA" or "EMERGENCY!
EMERGENCY! EVACUATE AREA".
Communicate Custom Safety Information
Your Displayguard®
administrator establishes the security levels and password
protection to grant each user access to different levels of
communication. A secretary may have the ability to manipulate
the general safety messages shown on the Displayguard®
electronic
industrial safety display unit, while the operations manager, safety supervisor,
or plant security has the ability to override these general
messages with customized Warning or Danger messages.
The
Displayguard®
software allows you to create their your own messages.
These messages are categorized into the General, Notice, Caution,
Warning, and Danger classes. You also customize how the
message appears on the screen by changing the flash speed and scroll
speed. Send these custom messages to one or more Displayguard®
electronic industrial safety display units via your computer network.
Easy Installation
It is easy to install Herwin's Displayguard®
electronic industrial safety display. Our electronic display's
specially designed guardrail housing may be retrofitted in an
existing guardrail layout or incorporated as an enhancement to
future safety rail projects.
The design of the electronic safety display's
enclosure assures that the 10-foot section may be installed with
Guardsmith®
or other major
industrial guardrail systems, assuring that the Displayguard®
electronic industrial safety display can easily be incorporated into
a new guardrail installation or retrofit into an existing plant
guardrail installation.
The display is recessed into the housing to ensure
that the electronic
display is protected from damage. The brackets allow the
electronic safety display to be tilted to achieve maximum visibility
in your industrial or commercial setting.
The Displayguard®
electronic industrial safety display units, installed in combination with Guardsmith®
guardrail, provides safety protection to sensitive plant areas such as electric control panels,
in-plant offices, equipment, or pedestrian walkways. Displayguard®
also facilitates safety communications by directing selected
messages to mobile material handling equipment and plant personnel
with the click of a button.
